The Israelites broke out the cymbals and trumpets. They sang. They shouted. The elders that had seen the first temple wept tears of joy as they looked upon the foundation of the second. God was worthy of their praise and they were happily giving it.
Notice that the temple wasn’t completed, just the foundation had been laid. But without that foundation the temple couldn’t be completed, their goal wouldn’t be met.
Revival is an ongoing process. We shouldn’t just praise God at the end. We need to be praising him along the way. Trust that God’s purpose for each part of your revival is praiseworthy and useful as you continue to move forward.
