Job was a man known as perfect and upright, and one that feared God and eschewed evil.

From these words we get a good picture of how Job lived. He wasn’t just a man that feared God. He was also a guy that didn’t do bad things.

Some think that we can just believe in God and then do whatever pleases us: right or wrong. But according to Romans 6:12 we are told to not allow sin to reign in our lives. I Thessalonians 5:22 says that we should abstain from all appearance of evil.

It may seem impossible to live like this. But with God all things are possible. And if we do fall short we have an advocate, Christ Jesus.
