A few years back we went on a family vacation. One evening we ate at the Dixie Stampede. This place doesn’t give utensils to eat your meal. You just have to use your fingers. One of us, I’ll not say who, was highly irritated.
Immediately that memory came to mind when I read Psalm 23:5 “Thou preparest a table for me in the presence of mine enemies:”.
Jesus doesn’t leave you unequipped or in a position where you can’t win the battle. He has laid out the necessary tools: His Word, His Spirit and prayer. We don’t need to look at a situation and feel irritation or defeat. Instead we just need to use what He has prepared for us to claim the victory.
