Ezekiel saw a hole in the wall. He dug through it and found a door. He opened the door and saw “wicked abominations”.

Let’s liken the hole to a temptation. If we walk on by–no harm done. But if we stay and dig around (sin) we’re preparing a path that continues to lead into more darkness.

Ezekiel hadn’t expected the hole to lead to a door. He didn’t anticipate the sin on the other side. But nevertheless that’s what it led to.

You may be thinking that just digging around for a while won’t be harmful–but it will be. Pass up the temptation. It isn’t worth it.
